Construction of new music facility

Project overview

Sendrig was appointed to construct a new state-of-the-art music facility on a former car park at Collingwood College, providing a flexible, high-quality space for music performance and recording. The facility features a custom music recording studio with a live room, drum booth, vocal studio, practice rooms and a circulation/breakout space.

Designed in three distinct zones—recording, social and practice—the layout minimises sound disruption between spaces, with solar PV panels installed on the roof for sustainability. The unique shape of the building required collaborative design input to meet functional and acoustic goals.
